The MEXT Undergraduate Japanese Government Scholarship Program is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). You can apply for scholarships in order to study at a higher education institution in Japan as an undergraduate or graduate student in the MEXT-related science and technology field.
If you are selected to participate in this scholarship program, you will receive a student visa (if you do not already have one), a free round-trip ticket, tuition fees, and a monthly stipend from the Japanese government.
