Interns Benefits:
The White House is ecstatic to announce that for the first time in recent history, participants in the White House Internship Program are paid.
Program participants are paid at a rate of $750 a week. Stipends are disbursed in 2 installments: participants will acquire the first payment at or around the start of the program and the final payment after the successful fulfillment of the program.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Enlisted in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (two-to-four year institution).
- Have graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (2-to-4 year institution) no more than 2 years before the internship program beginning date.
- A veteran of the United States Armed Forces who has a high school diploma or its equal and has operated on active duty–for any length of time–in the 2 years foregoing the internship program beginning date.
